Join Khubsurat India – Making India Cleaner & Greener
Ahmedabad | World Environment Day Special Report
A group of volunteers from Khubsurat India, in collaboration with Bhagwan Mahavir Education Foundation, organized an environmental awareness drive to mark World Environment Day. The initiative focused on spreading awareness about air pollution, water conservation, and sustainable living.
Awareness Rally on Campus
The activity was held on the campus of Bhagwan Mahavir Education Foundation, where volunteers gathered with placards carrying powerful messages such as:
- “Air Pollution is not a joke.”
- “Stopping Pollution is the Best Solution.”
- “We need your helping hand to save Water, Sky and Land.”
- “Use paper with care so our trees don’t become rare.”
- “#BeatAirPollution”
Participants walked across the campus lawns and public areas, interacting with students and staff to encourage eco-friendly habits and responsible environmental behaviour.
Purpose of the Initiative
The campaign aimed to:
- Educate young people about the impact of pollution and climate change.
- Promote small everyday actions like saving water, reducing paper usage, and planting trees.
- Encourage community participation in sustainability efforts.
Community Participation
Volunteers highlighted that awareness at the grassroots level plays a key role in building a cleaner and greener India. Students and faculty members actively engaged in discussions about waste reduction, tree plantation, and responsible consumption.
